 Post subject: Alkborough late news - Tuesday 8th September

Sorry about the late report had a spot a bovver with the old PC.
Decided to have proper look round Alkborough Flats on Tuesday last.

Heres what i recorded in c5hours. With a break for a cuppa.
1 Spoonbill, 15 little egret, 2 Ruddy Shelduck (Unknown Origin) 2 Marsh Harrier, 2 Sparrow hawk, 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 14 Dunlin, 3 Little Stint, 3 Ruff, 2 Blk-tailed Godwit, 8 Greenshank, c23 Redshank, Avocet, 5 Ringed Plover, 6 Golden Plover, 2 Grey Plover, 5 Spotted Flycatchers, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Tawny Owl, 2 Kingfisher, 1 Pintail, Lots of Teal and other commoner wildfowl.
Plus a surprise Garganey as i was leaving, in the drainage pool ditch adjacent to the sewerage works and car park.
